Take control of your service charges

If you want us to set up the RTM Company for you, the cost is £200 + VAT. We will send you the forms to be signed. Once you have returned the signed forms, we normally get the Certificate of Incorporation from Companies House within one to two weeks.

We need just one owner to take the initial decision and we require:

Thereafter, we request that 50% of the HSC fee is paid within one month of the formation of the RTM Company, and the balance within one month of service of the Notice of Claim on the landlord. The fee is £50 + VAT per unit, subject to a minimum of £750 + VAT.

For larger buildings there may be some economies of scale and the rate per flat might be reduced.

If you require an evening meeting, and are a small building, then we may need to make a charge for this.

We have to exclude from our fee any external costs that are sometimes (but rarely in our experience) needed for legal advice or an application to the First Tier Tribunal. We will take your instructions on this if we believe it is necessary, and we will not incur external costs without your authorisation.

The Landlord is entitled to recover his reasonable costs.

The Landlord is entitled to be a member of the RTM company, after the 'date of acquisition,' but he has to request this.

Following the acquisition of the Right to Manage you may wish to do the Company Secretarial work yourselves. We make no additional charge for preparing and filing the paperwork in connection with the handover. If you would like us to continue to be your Company Secretary then our annual charge for the provision of Company Secretarial services for your Right to Manage Company will be £310 + VAT per annum to include:
